Stephanie Alexander

Stephanie Alexander, Esq.
Stephanie was born in Helena, Montana, and raised in Bakersfield, California. She earned an AA in Social Welfare from Bakersfield College in 1969, and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from California State University at Fullerton in 1974.
In 1984 her legal career began at Pensacola Junior College where she earned a dual Legal Assistant AS in Litigation and Commercial Law. With the training and experience gleaned from assisting with plaintiff liability claims, she passed the national certification examination and become a Certified Legal Assistant in 1987. Her skills were then applied to assisting with the defense of medical practice and product’s liability claims. Eventually she accepted the challenge of law school and graduated from Florida State University, School of Law, Magna Cum Laude in May 1998. Later that year she was admited to the Florida Bar, the Florida Supreme Court, which includes all Florida State Courts, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
Stephanie joined Vernis & Bowling in August, 1998 and practices in the area of workers’ compensation defense and liability defense. Since 1999 she has also served on the Board of Directors for Independence for the Blind of West Florida.
